Anthony James

Anthony James writes science fiction, though sometimes he thinks that science fiction writes him. He grew up on speculative fiction of all sorts, though it was the greats, Asimov, Herbert, Dick, Clarke, Wolfe, Heinlein that shaped his perception. In real life, he does other things, apart from writing, following the principle laid down by Robert A. Heinlein, i.e. that specialization is for insects. So, he strives, at most times, not to be an insect, no matter what Kafka would say,\n\nWhy SF? Science Fiction is, after all, meant to be the literature of ideas. Human advancement, the growth to meta-humanity, the untapped potential of the individual are all things that interest Anthony greatly. Plus, of course, the understanding that all literature is merely a reflection of ourselves and what that says about where we live and who we are.
